$14.9 million Program Grant awarded to VIIN Researchers

VIIN Researchers at the Doherty Institute and Monash University have been awarded a $14.9 million Program Grant from the National Health and Medical Research Council, to begin in 2017.

The Program entitled Antigen presentation, recognition and the immune response will be led by University of Melbourne’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor James McCluskey along with Professors Bill Heath, Frank Carbone, Andrew Brooks, Jose Villadangos and Dale Godfrey from the Doherty Institute and Professor Jamie Rossjohn from Monash University's Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Together these Chief Investigators will use a multidisciplinary approach to define the function and molecular interactions of various cell types to broaden the understanding of the immune system and highlight new avenues for immune intervention.
