Thanks again to our speakers and chairs for a great session

The VIIN Emerging Leaders Committee is delighted to invite you to our first workshop for 2026!

“How to Get a Grant: Building Your Toolkit for Funding Success” will be held on Wednesday 13 May from 10am – 12pm.

This online workshop is designed to equip students and EMCR scientists with the necessary skills to find, prepare and apply for grant opportunities at a variety of different career stages. Speakers will discuss tips and tricks to help build successful grant applications while providing insights from their own experiences and expertise.

Join us online to hear insights from three experienced researchers familiar with both academia and industry, as well as successful grant and fellowship applications from a variety of funding sources. Our panel members will share their advice and guidance on key topics across each stage of the grant process, including when to start, how to tailor your application to different funding bodies, where to find and incorporate feedback, and how to avoid common pitfalls. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with the webinar audience.

Register here by 5pm Wednesday 6 May to receive webinar details.
