Dr Marco Colonna is Professor of Pathology and Immunology and Medicine. His laboratory studies the function of natural killer (NK) cells, innate lymphoid cells, plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC) and macrophages in innate and adaptive immune responses against pathogens and in cancer.  Prof Colonna and his team have made major discoveries how these cells contribute to immunity and have identified novel cytokine networks that these cells elicit.
